Barb & I were both born and raised in Michigan.  We married in 1978 and almost immediately moved to Arkansas.  Barb was an art major at the University of Michigan.  She took a couple of screen printing classes.  In 1981 she was asked to do some T Shirts for a church revival.  It was a success.  Shortly thereafter, she got an order here and there on a somewhat regular basis.  All her equipment was hand made.  Working out of our home causes us to have low-to no overhead expenses.  We've always been told that "our prices are too low."  I guess that's why the business has grown so steadily.

We came up with the name "Royal Tees" sometime in 1983.  Yes, there are other companies out there with the same name.  I wish we could have got the first web site with that address.

 We purchased a 4-color press in July of 1999, another new adventure.  Finally, something that is not hand made.  The best we can figure, 4 colors can only be printed on light-colored shirts.  Well, that's a whole different story.

Our local clientele is what keeps us going right now.  We average an order a week from the net.  That's without much promotion.  We have never advertised, not even locally, feeling that "word of mouth" advertising is always best.  If word gets out about our work on the internet, business may get out of hand.  Being on the WWW since December of 1999, we have done business for customers on each coast and both northern and southern borders and many places in between.  We have even had repeat orders from Hawaii.  We are now working out of our home in Searcy, Arkansas.

We promise to try to give you the best prices around.  We always strive to do good work.  In our 26 years of screen printing, I can not think of one dissatisfied customer.
